History—The Geriatric Resource Centre was started 28 years ago by Ann Peck. It was one of a handful of pioneer firms in the senior home health care industry at the time…and it is still going strong today!
Staff Profiles:
Ann Peck is a licensed social worker (LSW) with a degree from Boston University. She has been a care manager for 35 years and can thus help you spot trends in a patient's status early on and make informed suggestions as to what the best care policy should be.
Ann has continued to learn about the field and add new services as they become appropriate. For example, Ann has begun working with the family and colleagues of patients who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She runs an Alzheimer's support group which currently has meetings in her home.
Veronica Fermino is an RN with over 30 years of experience in geriatric and psychiatric nursing. She received her RN degree from Boston University.
Karen Caponetti is the office manager who is responsible for payroll and billing.
